Five Bulgarians died in a brutal accident in Romania
A serious traffic accident occurred on Sunday night against Monday in Dragneşti Wallachia in Romania, reports timisoarastiri.ro. Five people were killed and three were injured after a van collided with a truck. The victims are Bulgarian citizens.
The accident was between a minibus carrying eight people and a truck carrying household appliances.
“At 1:52 a.m. on Sunday against Monday, 112 received a signal of a serious road accident in the area of Dragnesti Wallachia between an eight-passenger minibus and a truck carrying household appliances,” the Romanian emergency service said.
Six fire engines, three ambulances and other medical vehicles with five other medical teams, as well as several police cars arrived at the scene. Three passengers were rescued from the bus, including the driver. They were taken in serious condition to a hospital in Alexandria.
Heavy equipment was called to the crash site to move the seriously injured truck. The driver of the truck is in good condition and has refused medical assistance. He assists the police.
“As a result of the strike, five people lost their lives and three others were injured. Both drivers were tested for alcohol, the result shows that at the time of the accident neither of them was under the influence of alcohol.
The cause of the accident is yet to be clarified. Social networks were flooded with complaints about the relatives of the deceased, who is from Omurtag.
