Five boats with 59 immigrants on board have reached the coasts of the province of Alicante during the early hours of this Sunday.
The first boat was located after one in the morning in the Tío Ximo cove in Benidorm with eleven men of Algerian origin, all of them of legal age.
The notice of the second patera has arrived after two in the morning at Vistamar beach in Pilar de la Horadada. An hour later, members of the Civil Guard have found twelve men of Algerian origin.
On the other hand, in Santa Pola, 14 men of Algerian origin were found after four in the morning, including a 17-year-old minor.
After seven in the morning, a fourth boat was sighted in the Racó de L’Albir with 14 people, of which twelve adults, a woman and a minor.
Finally, around eight o’clock in the morning a notice of another boat entered the Higuerica beach of Pilar de la Horadada with eight people, seven men and a woman of Algerian origin.
All of them have been transferred to the Port of Alicante for health care by the Red Cross and to carry out the PCR tests as established in the protocol. The immigrants were in good health.
