The lanterns went out on the 24e edition of Fitini show, this September 24, 2023 in Bobo-Dioulasso. Many of these children stormed the Friendship Theater so as not to be fooled by this national final.
After more than two months of competition, the best groups in the different categories of playback, slam, sketch, miss parade and choreographic ballet, competed in talent to climb to the highest step of the podium, at the occasion of this national final of Fitini show. The prize is the prestigious choreographic ballet trophy, the golden catfish, worth 1,500,000 FCFA.
Around three hours. This is the time it took for the different competitors to compete on the stage of the Friendship Theater. At the end, it was the Blessed Children of sector 25 of Bobo who left with the first prize in choreographic ballet, the golden catfish, the sum of 1,500,000 FCFA and several other prizes. In this category, the group succeeds itself for the fourth consecutive time. According to the president of the association, Aminata Dorothé Zerbo, the secret is work, rigor and above all a love of culture.
A successful bet, according to the organizers. For this finale alone, thousands of children, for a moment, sang and danced in the bowl of the Friendship Theater. For Moussa Dembélé, president of the Déni Dèmè association, promoter of Fitini show, it is a feeling of satisfaction that drives him, because this activity is a symbol of resilience.
Fitini show, he says, is the transmission of a message of peace, inclusive education, the fight against child labor in particular. The objective is to bring Fitini show to all regions of the country. For this, Valentin Kambiré, project manager at the ministry in charge of culture, representing his supervisory minister, patron of the ceremony, was keen to congratulate and encourage the organizing committee. Same story for Bah Siaka Coulibaly, representing the godfather, Al Hassane Siénou, president of the consular delegation of Hauts-Bassins. He adds that when he was asked to sponsor the activity, he didn’t have to be asked. Note that this edition was held under the theme: “I am neither an employee, nor a wife, yes to the education of children.”
