The Fitch rating agency maintained on Friday its negative monitoring under which it had placed the valuable AAA rating of the United States due to the Debt crisis, and despite a deal passed in Congress on Thursday night. “Although the resolution of the impasse over the US debt limit allows the government to meet its obligations“, Fitch maintains this monitoring, indicating to examine “all the implications of this latest episode of the crisis and the outlook for medium-term budget and debt trajectories“, specifies the agency in a press release.
