The new Fisker PEAR (Personal Electric Automotive Revolution) is a very important electric model for the growth strategy of the automaker. The starting price it was confirmed to be $29,900 and the company aims to sell one million a year globally. However, Fisker didn’t say anything about when he plans to get there. A choice made to facilitate loading operations.

Inside, the Fisker PEAR will accommodate up to 6 passengers on boarddepending on the chosen configuration. The cockpit will have a minimal design. No instrumentation but only a central display which will also be used to manage the infotainment settings. The car rests on SLV-1 platform by Fisker designed to use about 35% less of the components that we find on the platform of other cars of the same category.

It will also be offered with a powertrain consisting of 2 electric motors. There is talk of a range of up to about 300 miles, equal to 482 km. The PEAR can already be pre-ordered for some time, leaving a deposit of 250 dollars.

FISHING ALASKA

In America, pickups are very popular and therefore Fisker also wanted to make one. For Alaska, the automaker used a modified version of the Ocean SUV platform. The load bed measures 1.37 meters but can reach approximately 2.8 meters by lowering the tailgate and the bulkhead that divides the cab from the load bed. Deriving from the Ocean, the cabin has a very similar layout with a digital instrument panel behind the steering wheel and a central vertical display for the infotainment system.

The pickup will be able to count on a range of between 230 and 340 miles (370km – 547km). This detail suggests that it will be offered with different powertrains.

Finally, as regards the Force E package for the Ocean SUV, it will be available from the first quarter of 2024 at a price yet to be defined.
