The programs Pescando Vida and Crédito Ganadero a la Palabra have been widely accepted by Tabasco producers, encouraged by the current administration, which so far has more than 18 thousand registrations with the Secretariat of Agricultural Development, Forestry and Fisheries (Sedafop). .
The two programs are already collecting a total of 18,584 applications for the agency; Both try to support the development of the country and food production in the entity.

More than 11 thousand applications for Pescando Vida
According to Sedafop, Pescando Vida has so far received 11,321 applications, which were collected in the information gatherings held in the towns of Jonuta, Balancán, Centla, Cárdenas, Tenosique, Paraíso and Huimanguillo.
In this sense, a total of 1,692 verifications were made by aquaculture technicians, with which the conditions of Tabasco’s rivers and lakes are analyzed, to verify the sustainability of the project.
Likewise, working meetings were held with the Committee of the National Commission of Natural Protected Areas (CONANP), with the intention of designing strategies aimed at preserving native species, providing advice and contributing to care the ecosystem and water bodies.
With Pescando Vida, a program promoted by the government of Javier May Rodríguez, it seeks to promote aquaculture activities in our state, promoting the sustainable development and well-being of local fishermen, as well as satisfying the deficit product that is currently in the state.

More than 7 thousand pre-registrations for Animal Credit
Regarding the Credit of Animals to the Word, so far there are 7,263 pre-registrations from agents in the towns of Macuspana, Cárdenas, Huimanguillo and Balancán. This program will start in the entity and will be expanded later to the rest of the Mexican Republic.
Livestock Credit to the Word provides in-kind support to producers, such as registered heifers and stables, to increase the state’s livestock herd; In addition, the beneficiaries must plant 1,100 native shade and supply trees.
The group indicated that the technical staff will soon begin verifying the applications received to verify that they meet the requirements requested.
