Fishing Industry Workers Demonstrate for Employment Insurance Reform

Around forty fishing industry workers unionized with the CSN demonstrated this morning in Rivière-au-Renard to demand a complete reform of employment insurance.

As we know, several employees are without income at the moment, while next January around forty factory workers from Marinard alone will also find themselves in the black hole.

The treasurer of the Central Council of Gaspésie-Les Îles CSN specifies that the Minister of Fisheries, Diane Lebouthillier, indicated that there is no specific program planned for the moment.
