A similar scam attempt spread by e-mail at the end of July, professionally imitated with the logo of the FPS Finance: every household could receive an amount of 374.68 euros by a decision of the “government” on July 25 “in compensation for your water and energy bill ”. If you clicked through the given website address, you ended up on a platform where you could choose your own house bank to log in to the banking app. This in turn led to specific, well-recreated login pages for banks such as ING, Belfius, KBC, BNP Paribas Fortis, Argenta, etc.
