Fiscal Signature Ma. Elena Andrade Ramírez Agreement with the Autonomous University of Baja California

SAN FELIPE, BC Attorney General Ma. Elena Andrade Ramírez and the Rector of the Autonomous University of Baja California Luis Enrique Palafox Maestre signed a collaboration agreement for professional training by projects.

At the ceremony held at the facilities of the highest educational institution in the port, the Attorney General stressed that this project lays the foundations for university students close to graduating to get involved in the activities of their professional career and receive compensation.

He added that it will be similar to internships such as those carried out in medical courses, where future professionals are given the opportunity to apply their knowledge acquired in the classroom in health institutions.

In this regard, he said that students interested in learning about the processes of Alternative Criminal Justice or the work that is carried out, have a space in the Prosecutor’s Office, their role will be to assist citizens who come to file a complaint and provide them with advice.

The head of the FGE said that it is very satisfying to join forces with educational institutions to develop programs that allow young people to apply the knowledge they have acquired in the classroom and acquire the tools that will be very important in their personal development.

The Legal Advisor of the State Government, Juan José Pon Méndez; Dr. Marina Olmedo; and Judge Gustavo Medina Contreras were present at the formal ceremony.

In addition to the General Coordinator of Academic Cooperation and Liaison, Martha Ofelia Lobo Rodríguez; the Director of the Faculty of Law, Mexicali campus, Ana Edith Canales Murillo and the legal representative of the El Desierto de Matomi Cooperative, José Gómez Amador.
