The spell on the Steinbach Black Wings Linz seemed to be broken in the middle third against Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey at the latest. First of all, the Upper Austrians were able to score in the first third and thus double their number of goals this season. However, after Asiago was able to equalize in the same period, the Linz knot finally burst in the 28th minute – and how: Within 51 seconds, the Linz team scored three times and from then on they finally played freely. By the end of the second third the home team increased their lead to 6:2. In a great atmosphere, the Black Wings finally scored their first three points of the season with an 8-2 win – which is eight times the number of goals in their previous four games. Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey, on the other hand, still has to wait for its first win.
