Either way, that’s where my certainties end. What do I have to pay attention to if risk minimization is more important than maximum quality? Which format, which frame frequency (23.98 / 24 / 25 / …)? Should I use an external microphone? If so, which one would be suitable?
First of all, for such original sound projects you need at least one external microphone or you can connect the one where the speakers are spoken anyway or synchronize the sound.
As far as filming with AF is concerned, the S10’s facial recognition isn’t quite as reliable yet, so you’d have to frame the image a little wider and close the aperture a little and maybe it’s better to use MF before the camera keeps going back and forth looking for the spiciness. With the iPhone you have everything sharp and the sound won’t be so great that you could end up offering it to someone.
It’s best to put the camera on a tripod, plug in the original sound and focus, if the person doesn’t move particularly much, then aperture 5.6 and MF. With an external microphone you have to try beforehand where the sound can be recorded best, of course not so close to the speakers etc.
