First success for Genesio with Rennes
Stade Rennais has returned to success by recording its first victory of the year 2021 at Roazhon Park against Strasbourg (1-0). First victory also for the new Breton club coach Bruno Genesio, sitting for the second time on the Rennes bench.
The Bretons, who remained on five consecutive defeats, relied on Benjamin Bourigeaud, the only scorer of the meeting (25 ‘).
The former Lensois, well served by Terrier in the area, achieved a perfect flat foot in the top corner of Kawashima.

Metz and Lens neutralize each other
The duel between the two surprise teams from the top of the table Lens and Metz kept all its promises with a spectacular draw (2-2).

Lorient slows down Nice
After two straight wins in the League, OGC Nice was held in check in Lorient (1-1).

Bordeaux pushes Dijon
The Girondins de Bordeaux easily disposed of a weak team from Dijon to Gaston Gérard (1-3).

Nîmes and Montpellier back to back
Nîmes and Montpellier neutralized each other on Sunday during the 29th day of Ligue 1 at the Costières stadium (1-1) in a derby which took time to settle.
