According to bTV, the body was found in the courtyard of the Romanian Church, located in the area of the Central Halls. An inspection is underway at the site. There are emergency teams, police and forensics.
Bilyana was in a hostel on “Pirotska” street. On-site investigations are ongoing. Recordings from the cameras have been seized, witnesses are being questioned.
The young woman was declared missing by her husband on October 15, who filed a report at the Fifth District Office in Sofia.
31-year-old Bilyana is the mother of two children, one of them is an infant. Her relatives said that she suffered from postpartum depression, and in the last days before she disappeared, her condition worsened.
Yesterday she was with a friend, her mother-in-law and her little child at her home. Her anxiety increased. Her friend called 911 and they took Bilyana to the Mental Health Center by ambulance.
She was accompanied there by a family friend. He left the office for a few minutes and when he returned, the doctor said that Bilyana had run away, writes bTV.
The center is located near the Central Sofia Halls. The woman’s body was found 750 meters away.
