The billionaire is giving away money to voters in swing states and promoting Donald Trump. After the US election, Musk could play a role in Trump’s government.

Washington, DC – The Philadelphia district attorney is suing Elon Musk because of his financial gifts to voters in the US state of Pennsylvania. The aim of the lawsuit is to stop the cash gifts, the US broadcaster reported CNN on Monday. The billionaire is supporting former Republican President Donald Trump in the US election campaign against Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris. Musk regularly raffles off $1 million in battleground states to newly registered voters who sign petitions for the right to bear arms and free speech.

Lawyers consider Musk’s cash gifts to voters before the US election to be illegal

Well, the broadcaster quoted from the prosecutor’s application, it could be the state of Pennsylvania’s lottery regulations that stop Musk’s activities in the swing state. It is at least an “illegal lottery” because only the state is allowed to operate it. It is also doubtful whether it is a lottery at all, since several winners took part in Trump rallies in Pennsylvania.

Musk announces extensive cuts after the US election at Trump’s rally in New York

Musk spoke at Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden in New York on Sunday evening (local time). In a brief but erratic appearance, Musk cast doubt on the legitimacy of the election and announced that he could cut about a third from the US budget if Trump wins. Musk has long fancied himself as the main short-changer in a second Trump administration. Among other things, after the US election, this could enable Musk to cut off funds from the very US authorities that control his companies and from which he receives orders. That’s what she reported New York Times.

“Project 2025”: Trump’s entourage is planning to turn away from US democracy

The coalition within the Republican Party that supports Trump is also in favor of radical cuts in the state apparatus. The anti-liberal “Project 2025” published by the ultra-conservative Heritage Foundation stipulates that Trump’s government will abolish the Department of Education and the FBI. During the election campaign, Trump promised to dismantle the EPA. If the “Project 2025” is implemented, the USA is also threatened with a move away from parliamentarism. The stated goal of the authors, including several former Trump employees, is to consolidate all power in the hands of the president. Although Trump repeatedly publicly distanced himself from the projects, he nevertheless approved of many aspects of Project 2025. Trump himself has already announced that he will have his political opponents persecuted after the election.
