MEXICO CITY (apro).- Tropical depression Once-E could intensify into a tropical storm in the Gulf of Tehuantepec during the night of this Tuesday or the early hours of Wednesday, the National Meteorological Service (SMN) predicted.
Off the coasts of Oaxaca and Chiapas, in interaction with the monsoon trough and a low pressure area, the Once-E depression will generate very heavy rains to occasional torrential rains in the south, southeast and east of the country, as well as gusty winds. of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour in the isthmus of Tehuantepec and waves of 1 to 2 meters high with possible formation of waterspouts in the Gulf of Tehuantepec.
