Slovakian defenders Marián Moško and Boris Žabek and striker Tim Danielčák will not play in the under-20 hockey world championship.
There can be 23 players on the roster for the championship. A maximum of two substitutions can occur only if one of them is injured.
The four remaining with the team are Michal Laurenčík, Jozef Viliam Kmec, Martin Mišiak and Alex Šotek, who did not make the roster. The coach currently has 22 skaters and three goaltenders at his disposal.

The Slovak team completed its first training session in the Moncton arena on Sunday. “Today we also had a joint team photo in the program, so it was more difficult for the players to move forward.
However, they gradually caught up and it ended up being of great quality. The hall is beautiful, typical Canadian. We are getting used to the environment a bit, but I think it will be fine,” coach Feneš told Hockey Slovakia.
The situation at the end of the training frightened the coach for a while. The rebounded puck unfortunately hit forward Adam Sýkora on the head, who remained on the ice for a long time. However, his injury was ultimately not serious and required some stitches in his right ear.
