The Referees Committee of the Spanish Football Association assigned the administration of the El Clásico match between Barcelona and Real Madrid to referee Juan Martinez Monoeira.
Barcelona will host Real Madrid at Camp Nou at 4 pm next Saturday in the seventh round of the Spanish Football League.
The panel assigned the referee, Jose Maria Sanchez Martinez, to manage the VAR technology room during the match.
The 38-year-old Spanish referee has never managed the Spanish El Clásico match, but has been assigned to manage several matches for Real Madrid and Barcelona with other competitors.
It is worth noting that Barcelona ranks ninth in the La Liga table with 7 points (he fought 4 matches – won in 2, tied in one and lost the same), while Real Madrid is in third place with 10 points (fought 5 rounds – won in 3, tied in One and lost in the same).
