First three consolation raffle prizes sold in San José, according to JPS

The three biggest prizes of the first National Lottery consolation draw were sold in the central canton of San José.

This was announced by the executive president of the Social Protection Board (JPS), Esmeralda Britton, during the official broadcast of the raffle, which consisted of five broadcasts. “It is my responsibility to tell you that the first three prizes were in San José, in the province of San José, in the central canton,” said the official.

The first prize went to number 46, with series 400. This paid ¢ 2,000 million – ¢ 400 million in full; ¢ 40 million per fraction-, was sold in the capital district of El Carmen.

“It was sold by a single seller. Well, at least he has all five issues. We don’t know, until they come to change them, if he changed them or if he sold them to a single person or to several people,” Britton said.

The second prize, of ¢ 400 million – ¢ 80 million in full – corresponded to number 21 of the 891 series. This was sold in the Josefino territories of Cathedral and Hospital.

On the other hand, the third prize was for 95 of the 335 series. This corresponds to ¢ 175 million – ¢ 35 million in full – and it was also sold in El Carmen. “He was assigned to two vendors,” commented the Executive President of the Board.

On December 27, the second consolation draw will be held. For this, the price of the whole is ¢ 15,000, while that of the fraction is ¢ 1,500. In total they will play three broadcasts, each with a jackpot of ¢ 300 million (¢ 900 million total prize).
