The first SMALL Kawa of the year 2023 was held on Saturday April 22 in Pessac (33), near Bordeaux.
Kawa IBDs are an opportunity to get together with people affected by IBDs, to share a moment in all conviviality and exchangearound his daily life or his questions.
After a round of presentations, the participants were able to exchange freely around various topics: causes of IBD, symptoms, medical pathways, treatments, sport with IBD, daily life difficulties, professional and personal pathways.
The afa volunteers also presented the various actions proposed by the associationand offered documentation to participants.
The outcome of this day is very positive, and the next MICI Kawa will take place in June.
