“First Semester Exams for Transfer Classes and Christian Brothers Holiday Schedule” – Ministry of Education’s Latest Announcement

The first semester exams for the transfer classes will begin this January, and the first semester exams will be held in order to evaluate the students, find out their strengths and weaknesses, and learn about the achievement results. Students also receive grades in these exams to know their level, or colored assessments for students in the primary stage. The exam is in the first term without failure or success because the grades of the first semester are complementary to the second semester and the student’s status is determined as success or failure at the end of the academic year, as the student may fail in a subject exam in the first term and compensate for this failure in the second term and obtain the highest grades and then succeed in the subject in which he passed. He stumbled in the first semester exams.

The educational directorates directed students to be careful to take the first semester exams, stressing that the student’s absence from the exams affects his level and also his grades in the current academic year.

The Central Administration for Directorate Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Technical Education sent a letter to the educational directorates taking the following measures:

– Assigning the follow-up department in the educational directorates and departments to take all necessary measures to monitor and follow up on absenteeism rates in schools.

– Taking into account the vacations and holidays of the Christian brothers when preparing exam schedules for the current academic year according to the time map, and not holding any exams during the days 6-7-8 of next January.

– Examinations for the first and second grades of general secondary school will be held electronically in the period from January 11 to the 24 of the same month, according to the readiness of the schools’ technological infrastructure.

– Develop an early plan to organize the examination process and the mechanism for holding it, and take all measures to ensure the confidentiality and regularity of the examinations.

– Emphasis on taking all measures to prevent various methods of cheating in the preparatory certificate exams.

– Monitoring the effectiveness and continuity of support groups and harnessing all capabilities aimed at providing the best educational service to students.
