On Friday, Rayana Bernawi, the first Saudi female astronaut, published a video clip that showed her passing over the Kaaba and the city of Mecca.

Bernawi said through the video clip, which she posted on her Twitter account: “All of Saudi Arabia is enlightened..Look, I will try to photograph..This as you see it is Mecca and this is the sanctuary. Look how illuminated Mecca is.”

The Saudi pioneer tried to photograph the city, but she mentioned that the International Space Station had overtaken it because it was moving so fast.

And the Saudi Space Authority published on its official page, after the success of the launch of the flight, a tweet in which it said, “The Dragon vehicle is heading to the International Space Station after the success of the launch, praise be to God, and carrying our heroes, Rayana Bernawi and Ali Al-Qarni.”

The first Saudi astronaut, Rayana Bernawi, sent a kiss and a smile to the followers of her mission, along with her Saudi citizen Ali Al-Qarni, in a video clip, which was broadcast from space, according to media reports.

The authority broadcasted a video clip that included a message from Rayana Ali, in which she said: “Peace be upon you from space… It is a very great honor to be part of this historic journey, and as you can see we float and try to establish ourselves, but I really like to start by thanking our leadership and the visionary, our crown prince.” Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his support for this mission.

The mission crew is expected to spend 10 days aboard the International Space Station.

Rayana Ali is a biomedical specialist with over 9 years of experience in stem cell and tissue re-engineering programs.

Throughout her career, she has worked to improve research protocols, explore many technologies, manage several breast cancer research projects, and publish many research papers in the same field, according to the Saudi Space Authority.

Ali holds a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences with first class honors from Alfaisal University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Reproductive Science, Genetic Engineering and Tissue Development from the University of Otago.

The Saudi Space Authority said that the mission includes conducting 14 pioneering scientific research experiments in the microgravity environment, which will contribute to providing answers that will empower humans through the expansion of health research, in addition to protecting the planet through the application of scientific experiments, a number of which are being carried out for the first time in the world on Earth. station board.
