“It is forbidden under the emergency ordinance until September 1, 2020 for events to take place,” said the triangle, who also immediately announced that the police will take enforcement action.

Marijn Hilgerdenaar has pinned a yellow ‘Police Watchdog’ sign on his backpack and uses his smartphone to visualize the police force on Dam Square. A live stream is running with it, explains Marijn, who was inspired by a friend who recorded the gelato demonstrations in France in a similar way.
Earlier this week, police denounced filming protesters. Cutting movies would create a distorted image. You can’t mess around with a live stream, says Martijn, who doesn’t fully understand the police complaint. “If an agent does his job well, then it’s no problem.”
