Karlsruhe Insider: Delivery bottlenecks in the southwest of Germany.

At first the fuel prices had totally exploded, and many citizens close to the border prefer to refuel cheaply abroad than the expensive German fuel. To make matters worse, the first petrol stations are complaining about delivery bottlenecks.

The problem with this is that the drivers notice the delivery bottlenecks and the first ones are starting to hamster again. This is selfish behavior and should definitely be avoided.

At the first petrol stations they complain about a sell-out because no more fuel is being delivered. Anyone who drives to the gas station in their combustion engine now needs a big wallet and strong nerves.

In many regions of Baden-Württemberg, the first petrol stations are already complaining of closings because they have completely run out of fuel. Therefore, everyone can consider themselves lucky who can still fill up their car.

The main supplier for the filling stations is the Mineralölraffinerie Oberrhein (MiRO) in Karlsruhe. They deny the bottlenecks and claim that 1,200 to 1,300 tanker trucks are loaded by the refinery every day.

There are only waiting times because of the long weekend and autumn holidays.
However, the tankers complain about the long waiting times.

Now a ship transporter is to blame for the misery because it got stuck in the Rhine and blocked the rest of the shipping traffic.
