The publishing house KAZÉ Manga has already presented the first part of its next program, which of course we do not want to withhold from you.
Below you will find the licensed titles sorted alphabetically and with the most important known details:
Blue Lock
–
With “Blue Lock” penned by author Muneyuki Kaneshiro and draftsman Yusuke Nomura, KAZÉ will be bringing an interesting mix of sport and survival or mind game to us in German-speaking countries in the upcoming program. In Japan, the series, which has already achieved great success there, currently comprises 13 volumes. In this country, it starts in November 2021, with the manga initially being published every two months. Each volume costs € 7.00 (DE) or € 7.20 (A). If you can get along with the e-book, you only pay € 5.99. In addition, KAZÉ announced that exclusive color pages are planned for the German version and that all five volumes will optionally be offered with a collection slipcase.
Plot (via KAZÉ):
You won’t become the best striker in the world if you don’t have the right ego! That much is clear. Ronaldo, Messi, Neymar … they are all top strikers who lead their national teams to victory.
And where does Japan stand? Again with the countries that no football nation takes for granted. If the national team survives at least the group stage, it will be rewarded with an appreciative nod of the head (nobody really expects it), but that’s about it. After the defeat at the 2018 World Cup, in which Japan made it into the top 16, the Japanese Football Association finally wants to do something about it – or at least its newest member Anri Teieri. Since Japan, in contrast to the top soccer nations, lacks a star striker with the appropriate ego, she wants to “breed” one from a pool of 300 students. For this purpose, the future soccer heroes are locked up in a training camp, the “Blue Lock”, divided into different groups and have to assert themselves against all others. Your trainer is appropriately called “Ego”.
Yoichi is one of the chosen strikers, although he has just lost his team’s entry into the Nationals in the truest sense of the word: Since he wanted to be on the safe side, he passed the ball once too much instead of scoring the goal himself – and lost in order to. Although he is a very good player, he finds himself in the worst Team Z with the number 299. As soon as they arrive at the Blue Lock, the first ones are sorted out in a 2-minute game. Although Yoichi is of the opinion that football is a team sport, he soon has to learn that this attitude will hardly help him in the Blue Lock. Because here it is important to assert yourself against the others in order to be number 1 in the end. And the price of failure is very high: it means the abrupt end of the future national football career, as none of the losers will have a chance to become a national player. And then one of his “team members” also says that he has a monster inside him that comes out when it really matters … Does Yoichi really have what it takes to become so selfish and at the same time so incredibly good to stand up to to enforce his 299 competitors?

Just like “Blue Lock”, another new series will start at KAZÉ in November. Plot (via KAZÉ):
Azusa is a huge fan of the idol group “Prinz-4-U” and has an immortal crush on the member Chika. At the opening concert of their new tour, a spotlight crashes onto the stage and threatens to kill Chika. Azusa throws herself at him with presence of mind to protect him! However, that didn’t really help, except that now both are dead and find each other again in heaven. While Chika doesn’t think that’s that great, it seems like a dream has come true for Azusa. But then God appears to them and reveals to them that his co-workers made a tiny mistake: It was actually not their turn to die. Then he sends them back into their bodies, which of course … are “repaired” beforehand. Phew, lucky again! Or not? Not at all, because both are now in the body of the other! Asuka doesn’t see any big problems doing Chika’s idol chores, after all she knows her idol, his moves and songs inside out! Doing the physical things like going to the bathroom, however … Soon the two of them find out that they can swap bodies again by kissing, but apparently this state does not last long. What should they do now and how can they survive the tour of Prinz-4-U ?!

However, she is not alone: She competes with none other than Tsubaki from Kogetsuan, who, however, does not recognize her. Shortly before, she met a “fan of her mother’s work,” as he puts it, who pressed a letter into her hand. Her mother wrote this a long time ago and includes the simple line “It wasn’t me!”. More than ever, Nao is now trying to find out what exactly happened that fateful night so many years ago, and to get revenge on Tsubaki as well. When Tsubaki Nao later proposes to marry, she accepts his proposal in order to get closer to his family and their secret …
