A plane crashed near Lesnovo. The incident was reported shortly after 1:30 p.m.
An emergency team left Elin Pelin immediately after the signal. Upon arrival, the pilot was found dead.
According to initial data, the plane crashed shortly after takeoff. Site inspection continues. The Minister of Transport, Hristo Alexiev, has appointed an investigation into the case.

The pilot, Georgi Vlaikov, is 33 years old. He is an experienced instructor with many years of experience.

The plane is a single seater and is used for acrobatic figures in the air, reports the Ministry of the Interior.
There is a recording of the flight that will be provided to investigators. The aircraft was technically fit and with all the necessary documents. The pilot has been practicing since 2011. He was without a helmet during the flight.
Nikolay Naydenov, Deputy Minister of Transport specified that the flight was filmed.
“People have responded immediately,” he pointed out.
