First Official Photos of the Facelifted Volkswagen Golf GTI with ChatGPT AI Infotainment and More Powerful Engine

The facelifted Volkswagen Golf GTI shows up in the first official photos. The novelty will have more modern infotainment with ChatGPT artificial intelligence and a more powerful heart under the hood.

The new facelifted Volkswagen Golf will be officially presented in a few weeks. For the first time ever, the German brand reveals to us the upcoming novelty with development camouflage, and the first teaser is great news for all petrol enthusiasts – even after the upgrade, the popular Golf will be sold in a sporty GTI version. At the same time, the latest speculations say that it will be even more powerful.

The camouflaged prototype appears in the official photos with decent camouflage, but it shows us the final design of the modernized model. In the basic features of the new product, you can notice that it will be slightly more aggressive than today’s model and will have more personality. You can also notice the large spoiler at the rear, reminiscent of the current upgraded GTI Clubsport model for the European market.

The essential news can be found in the sporty interior – Volkswagen shows a new multifunctional steering wheel with classic buttons in the first official photo of the cabin. The previously controversial touch buttons are fortunately a thing of the past. We can also notice the more friendly climate control and the new free-standing infotainment touchscreen.

Volkswagen has opted for a large central display of the multimedia system, which is inspired by the one in the electric models ID.4 and ID.7 or the new generations of combustion cars Passat and Tiguan. The automaker will also use ChatGPT artificial intelligence in its state-of-the-art infotainment, thanks to which it wants to improve the quality of the voice assistant. It will help you control infotainment, adjust the air conditioning or “enrich conversations”.

And now for the speculated performance boost. The latest behind-the-scenes information says that the sporty Volkswagen Golf GTI with a turbocharged two-liter four-cylinder 2.0 TSI could boost from the current 245 hp to the resulting 265 hp. How it will turn out in reality, we still have to wait. The facelifted novelty will be presented already this year during the 50th anniversary celebrations of one of the brand’s most famous models.
