First measures are taken in the departments of Poitou-Charentes to try to avoid a second night of riots. They relate to explosives, weapons and other fireworks and public transport.
At the end of the interministerial crisis unit organized this Friday by the President of the Republic, the prefects received recommendations to ban anything that could constitute a weapon or an explosive. Public transport on the surface will also be stopped from 9 p.m. throughout the territory.

A new decree also prohibits “the undeclared gathering planned on the Place de l’Hôtel de Ville in La Rochelle on Friday June 30 at 7 p.m.”.
In the Two Sevresthe prefecture announced measures to preserve public order and security.
Prohibition of “any demonstration, gathering of a protest nature, as well as any crowd between the areas of Place de la Brèche, Les Halles and the city center of Niort from Friday June 30, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. until Saturday July 01, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. .” Prohibition of the sale, transport and use of fireworks, retail fuels as well as acids and all flammable, chemical or explosive products in the cities of Bressuire, Niort and Thouars, from Friday June 30, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. to Monday July 3, 2023 at 8 a.m.
