First major eFootball 2022 update won’t be released until spring of 2022

Konami has announced that. Update 1.0 should add some new modes to the game, including Creative Teams – a mode similar to Fifa Ultimate Team. Also, the update should add a season pass and microtransactions.

Since September, Konami has been selling $40 DLC packs that contain special football players that can be used in the upcoming Creative Teams mode. Since that update has now been postponed, people who have purchased these Premium Player Packs will get their money back.

Konami has also delayed the mobile version of eFootball 2022 to Spring 2022.

Currently, eFootball 2022 only supports friendly matches with a small selection of soccer teams, as well as time-limited challenges. Konami previously admitted that the current version is more or less a demo – something the update should have fixed.

The promised patch for eFootball 2022 will be released today, which will fix some of the bugs that plague the game. The complete list of bug fixes is here to find.
