After a series of short trailers, Paradox Interactive has finally revealed a longer piece of gameplay from Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. The game is a sequel to the cult 2004 RPG in which we take on the role of a newborn vampire in Seattle.
Unveiled by creative director Alex Skidmore, the footage shows parts of the game we’ve already glimpsed, but this time we see all of the gameplay, as well as bits of the story that were shown previously.
The accompanying press release includes a statement from Skidmore himself.
The gameplay and action of Bloodlines 2 is a dance of sorts. By exploring the world, immersing yourself in the atmosphere, and making strategic choices, players influence their relationships with the characters around them.
Players can choose their legend, but the world is dynamic and characters remember how you feel about them. Think carefully and don’t trust anyone.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be released in autumn 2024 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
