The famous leaker brings us the very first renders of the flagship Xiaomi 14 Pro, which will apparently be much more angular and possibly get up to four cameras. The camera module is again slightly larger, the back and the frame are suddenly flat, and the new Quad HD display with very thin frames and record high brightness has also been straightened.
At the end of the week, OnLeaks has been gradually bringing us renders of all the upcoming Galaxy S24 or OnePlus Open series phones, and at the end of this week, it started again with Xiaomi. We can probably see the new design of the flagship Xiaomi 14 Pro for the first time just a few weeks before the unveiling, which surprisingly will change quite a bit. According to the new images, it will lose some of its elegance in favor of a more austere and angular look.
At first glance, the main change is a different camera module, which looks… in short, like a stove. It is again larger, protrudes more from the body and has three to four sensors in it. Sources are not sure about the number of sensors. Only four circles on the back can be read from the CAD drawings. Unfortunately, there is not much information about the camera specifications. The Leica inscription is missing from the renders, as the leaker is not yet sure where it will be. The 1-inch main sensor from last year will also be missing, it will be replaced by a smaller sensor, but it will again get four levels of variable aperture like the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. The features of this camera should be at least at the level of a 1-inch sensor. The telemacro with a closer focus point also sounds promising.
You will also definitely notice the new flat back and the frame, which is supposed to be made of titanium in the better versions. There is another unexpected change at the front, we have a flat display with very thin frames, Quad HD resolution and a record brightness of up to 3000 nits. Not everyone will probably like the changes, but it’s definitely nice that Xiaomi changes the design a little every year to keep the phones looking fresh, but still obviously keep the overall style, so you can tell they’re from the same line. Now the question is how many hours we will have to wait before OnLeaks also reveals the design of the smaller Xiaomi 14.
