In social networks appeared the first images of the animated film “How are you?” (Kimitachi wa Dou Ikiru ka) by Hayao Miyazaki. Studio Ghibli decided to drop the film’s promotional campaign and released only one poster for the Japanese release on July 14. Now, thanks to the booklet of the cartoon, the first images of Miyazaki’s new work have appeared on the network.
“How are you doing?” at the moment it was released only in Japan and for the entire rental period earned almost 40 million dollars. Hayao Miyazaki worked on the cartoon for about seven years. The plot revolves around a 15-year-old schoolboy whose life changes after the death of his father. The hero’s mother sends him to live with his uncle, and there the boy begins every morning with a note left by a relative.
You can read the opinion of critics about the film here. “How are you doing?” will receive an official release in Russia, and then it will be released digitally on Kinopoisk. The exact date of the premiere has not yet been announced. It is also known that the cartoon will open the Toronto Film Festival.
