First lady Mellisa Santokhi-Seenacherry, who has a warm heart for the Surinamese community, has today given further substance to her efforts to help meet the needs of society.
On Friday, March 12, 2021, the first lady came to needy citizens with gift vouchers worth SRD 500, -. It concerned 16 needy families, who had submitted a request to the secretariat of the Institute of the First Lady.
The gesture was made on behalf of the first lady by Gene Sampono of the institute (photo). “First lady Mellisa Santokhi wishes you God’s blessing and asks you to continue to work for the country and the people,” said Sampono.
