ChatGPT is currently bumping into all sorts of areas. After the Wörthersee-Rosental tourist region had already published an advertising video that was designed purely by artificial intelligence, the AI is now also advancing into the Austrian music industry.
The Viennese investor and CEO of the investment company Venionaire Capital, Berthold Baurek-Karlic, wants with his newly founded music label Venionaire Rhythm Labs break new musical ground. According to Baurek-Karlic, music that is written and produced with the help of AI should revitalize Austria as a music location.
“Today, music, art and technology are closely intertwined. As a Viennese I love music, as an investor I love technology. Combining this and writing a song with the help of artificial intelligence immediately inspired me,” says Berthold Baurek-Karlic. With the newly discovered Viennese rapper 10x he has now released the first song under the new label. The framework for the text comes from ChatGPT and was refined by Baurek-Karlic. The end product is an English paean to the start-up world and to itself.
The dream of the Billboard charts
Venionaire Capital has discovered 10x via an advertisement on Facebook. The management consultant with roots in rap is said to have been quickly won over by the idea. “It was clear to me – the number is too good not to be played. I immediately wanted to make something big out of it,” explains 10x.
Now the two Viennese want nothing less than to storm the US Billboard charts with their single “Best in the Game”. “Falco topped the US charts with ‘Rock Me Amadeus’ for 17 weeks – that’s our benchmark!” says producer Baurek-Karlic. They also want to take unusual paths when it comes to the release – in addition to the usual social media channels, they also want to bring the song to the blockchain via the TokenTraxx platform.
