First in Indonesia, Toll Users Can Refill Electronic Money via Whatsapp

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Manager Highway Makassar, PT Bosowa Marga Archipelago (BMN)
and PT Jalan Toll Section Four (JTSE) which is a subsidiary of PT Margautama
Nusantara (MUN) formalizes the system charging reset (top up) electronic money (unique) through
Whatsapp starts July 24, 2020.

As of today, Makassar Toll Road users can refill unique wherever and whenever easily and practically through the Whatsapp Application as well as charging cellular pulses.

Managing Director of PT Bosowa Marga Nusantara (BMN) and PT Toll Road Section Four (JTSE) Anwar Toha claimed, this system was the first service that was applied in Highway and Makassar toll road becomes the first BUJT to provide this facility.

Previously, Makassar Toll management had provided card filling services at the gate
toll and top up service posts scattered at toll gates.

However, in the midst of the current Covid-19 pandemic, the exchange of cash through cash transactions

As one of the efforts to prevent the spread of Covid-19 as well as to improve services to road users, Makassar Toll Management provides a solution by providing a unique filling service through a non-cash payment system in a fast, safe, convenient, easy and efficient way.

Charging unique remodeling using the “Top Up Whatsapp” facility can be done personally without requiring the assistance of officers, thus supporting the government’s recommendation to do so social distancing currently.

This facility can also be used for all IOS and Android users. Makassar Toll Management collaborates with various banking partners namely Bank Mandiri and Bank BNI to facilitate toll users in their transactions.

Especially for Bank BRI and Bank BCA, services top up via WhatsApp this can only be used in August 2020.

Unique refill via WhatsApp can only be done for the type of E-Money and Tapcash cards.

Not only that top up unique, transaction services through the WhatsApp application can also be used to transact in terms of buying credit, paying utility bills, bills
telephone, cable TV bill, PDAM, and BPJS bill.

Previously, Makassar Toll Management had implemented toll payment electronically since November 2018.
