Studio Ubisoft is dealing with a whole series of leaks about the upcoming smaller sequel to the Assassin’s Creed series. Following a recent package of details from a French YouTuber, we now have the alleged first in-game preview. However, it is very short and at the same time very poor quality.
- A two-second footage allegedly from Assassin’s Creed Mirage
It’s been about eight months since Assassin’s Creed Mirage was announced. Apart from the film trailer, however, we have not yet received any very specific information and, above all, no footage directly from the game. So far, we could only imagine wandering around Baghdad with Basim. But a roughly two-second clip, apparently captured by a phone on a console or computer screen, has begun to circulate on the Internet, apparently showing the Mirage in action.
We can thus see the half-hero in the traditional assassin’s robe as he walks through the sparse urban development. Little can be judged from the very low-quality shot. But the game looks pretty good and the exotic environment could be an interesting attraction. Clumsier character movement also suggests that we could indeed be seeing a return to the gameplay of older Unity or Syndicate installments.
Will we get more official information soon? Hard to say. Most likely, we have to wait for June 12, when the Ubsioft Forward stream will take place, presenting the news in the offer of the French publisher.
