The landowner from Pipera purchased the former Inter hotel in 2022, from the former owner of Astra Giurgiu, Ioan Niculae, in exchange for the sum of 6.8 million euros. Before long, the building was renamed to Becali Hotel and was awarded the logo from the FCSB. The only change consists in the letters present on the emblem: on the hotel appear TCAB instead of FCSB, representing the initials of the daughters of the patron of the red-blue team.

The hotel will not be managed by the Becali family
Recently, Mihai Mincu, Theodora Becali’s husband, admitted that such a business requires active involvement and takes up a lot of time, so the management will be handed over to a company that deals with hotel management.
“We will rent the hotel to someone to take care of it, because we don’t have time. It’s a business with 70-80 employees that you have to sit next to every day. We will have a company to operate the hotel. We are in discussions with 2-3 companies. Originally built in 1971, the hotel has a built-up area of 2,670 square meters and a plot of 4,584 square meters, with direct access to the beach, two restaurants and an outdoor pool. The accommodation unit has 70 double rooms, 54 being rated at five stars and 16 classified at four stars.
