A great day for fans of The matrix: Today the makers release their first official images. Yesterday they warmed up with short glimpses of the film, on a interactive website. There, the footage was always poured into new ‘teasers’, which resulted in more than 180,000 versions doing the rounds.

The fourth Matrixmovie comes 22 years after the iconic original. Although – spoilers – their characters died in the third part, actors Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss are back again. In The matrix resurrections Lead character Neo rediscovers that he lives in a computer simulation and the real world is controlled by machines. The film will hit theaters at the end of December.
