The first photo out ZillionRobin Pront’s film about the legendary nightclub of the same name, promises a great party. Frank Verstraeten, played by Jonas Vermeulen, whips up his ecstatic ‘zillionaires’ from the roof of a police car.

Since the original Zillion building in Antwerp was demolished a few years ago, the actors, crew and a whole lot of extras went elsewhere. The scenes that take place in the disco were shot in Kokoriko in Lievegem, East Flanders. That already happened in October. The recordings have been over for a while, but the film is still waiting until October 26. The recordings and release had to be postponed considerably due to the corona crisis.

In the first photo from the film, protagonist Jonas Vermeulen, known for, among other things, Studio Tarara in The eleventh of the eleventh, to see. He gets into the buffalo’s of Zillion owner Frank Verstraeten. Matteo Simoni lost several kilos to play porn king Dennis Black Magic. Other roles are for Charlotte Timmers, Barbara Sarafian and Geert Van Rampelberg.
Kevin Meul wrote the screenplay together with Robin Pront. Robert Heyvaert (D’Ardennes, Patser, Bad Boys for Life) takes care of the camera work. FBO, known for Callboys in Day, is producing the film in co-production with Woestijnvis and Millstreet Films.
