First Generation Apple Computer Auctioned, Sold for IDR 5 Billion

The Apple-1 was the computer that started Apple’s journey. Wozniak joined the computer club with Steve Jobs and the couple decided to start selling circuit boards that people could use to build their own computers at home.

At the time Apple was so small that Wozniak was the only person who could solve customer support issues, and Apple eventually offered a free trade-in for the Apple II and customers would return the Apple-1.

Apple later destroyed them, which is why nowadays they are so rare. The product has about 4KB of memory and the user will have to add their own keyboard and monitor.

The Apple-1 has no hard drive, CD or DVD drive, graphics, animation, video or internet. Today Apple is the most valuable company in the world and has pioneered everything from the iPhone and iPod to the Apple Watch.
