On September 6, 7 and 8, the first Festival of Art and Inclusion of People with Disabilities will take place, whose purpose is to integrate the skills of people with functional diversity in areas such as art, sculpture, workshops and conferences.
“On Wednesday, September 6, the inauguration will be held at the house of legal culture of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, at 11 a.m. they will present a talk on physical therapy with the theme of inclusion.”
Particularly in Toluca, 32,000 people have a disability, according to the National Institute of Statistics, Geography and Information Technology, hence the need to open spaces where they can integrate and function normally.
During the festival there will be a services fair, an art and sculpture exhibition, a film exhibition, conferences, workshops and literary proposals.
“We are going to find painting workshops, samples, some talks, there are several samples that will be presented, and the main thing, we want to raise awareness of the occlusion.”
