First exposure in ‘The Traitors’: “Other traitor even started lobbying against me”

It has happened anyway: the first traitor has to leave the suit. Walter Damen (50) was voted out at the round table. But in the meantime they also had to say goodbye to the allies. Nora Dari (20) was ‘killed’ by the traitors.

And then there were two of them. After five weeks in safety, the allies have finally unmasked a traitor. Niels Albert, Maureen Vanherberghen and Kim Van Oncen, among others, saw the light and set their sights on Walter. His defense failed this time. “I am a traitor”, Walter confessed immediately after his exile. “And I’m actually glad it’s over. I thought my limit was up, I was starting to get tired. I always knew that if a traitor died, I would be the first and never thought it would take this long.”

Fellow traitor Jamie-Lee Six previously said she would rather see Damen leave, while she was still under the radar with Loïc Van Impe. “If Jamie-Lee had just kept following, there would have been a certainty of victory,” Damen says. “Not only did she vote against me, she also started lobbying against me. If they don’t win now, that’s something I’ll take out on Jamie-Lee. We had all the trumps in hand.” Her ‘betrayal’ also causes tensions between her and Loïc.

Among the allies, actress Nora Dari had to leave. Her suspicion towards Walter was fatal to her. Loïc also had them in mind.
