The rocket started moving slowly, but then drilled its way up through the atmosphere faster and faster, towards space. After about four minutes the rocket exploded. Nevertheless, the engineers and followers are satisfied, because they learned a lot from the test flight.
In any case, it is the first time that the two-stage rocket has been launched in its entirety (with the Super Heavy launcher and the Starship spaceship on top).
The takeoff may have been successful, but the entire plan was not implemented. The intention was for Super Heavy to disconnect from Starship, and Starship to continue flying across the Atlantic and Indian Oceans before crashing near Hawaii. But the decoupling failed, and the rocket began to make strange movements before exploding.
