But can that game still be saved?
–
Konami announces via Twitter that eFootball will receive a first update on October 28. Version 0.9.1 should fix some of the bugs currently plaguing the game, though the publisher remains vague about exactly what issues it will address.
eFootball was released last week as a free-to-play football game. The many bugs, including players suddenly sinking into the ground and completely disfigured faces of stars like Messi and Ronaldo, quickly ensured that eFootball currently has the lowest user rating ever on Steam.

For now, it remains to be seen which bugs will be fixed at the end of this month, and whether that will be enough to save the game after its miserable launch.
