Exactly three weeks after the first Dutch person has been vaccinated against corona, the first group will receive the necessary second injection today. On January 6, nurse Sanna Elkadiri was the first to receive the vaccine at the GGD injection site in Veghel and it is her turn again this morning.
The first groups to receive a vaccine in early January were nursing home workers and hospital workers in acute care. The elderly and vulnerable are now also being vaccinated. The corona dashboard reports that more than 173,000 vaccines have been put.
