Xiaomi is already working on the seventh version of the popular Xiaomi Band and the first rumors of the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 have now surfaced. According to reports, the fitness tracker will once again have a larger screen and this time will have a built-in GPS chip.
Xiaomi’s Mi Bands are extremely popular because of the very good value for money. This is how you can update the current Xiaomi Mi Band 6 already buy for less than 40 euros. According to XDA Developers we can expect the Mi Band 7 in the coming months and this model will have a screen with a resolution of 192 x 490 pixels. This is higher than the 152 x 486 pixels of the Mi Band 6. The Mi Band 7 therefore seems to get a somewhat larger screen.
There would also be a built-in GPS function for the first time. Normally we only find GPS chips in the more expensive wearables. With a built-in GPS chip, you can leave your smartphone at home and still save your running route.
We don’t have any other details yet. We also don’t have an launch date yet. The Mi Band 5 was announced in June and the Mi Band 6 in March. This makes it difficult to estimate when we can expect the Xiaomi Mi Band 7.
