First day of Blitar City 2024 election PPK interview test, one person declared dead

Blitar (beritajatim.com) – The General Election Commission (KPU) of the city of Blitar, held an interview test for candidates for the members of the District Election Committee (PPK) for the 2024 elections. On the first day of the interview test, a participant was declared disqualified by Blitar City KPU.

This determination was made by the Blitar City KPU, because the participants who were candidates for the 2024 election PPK did not attend the selection interview on the first day. “Out of the 16 PPK participants who took the interview test on the first day, one person was disqualified because the participant was not present at the interview selection,” said Rangga Bisma Aditya, Commissioner on Sunday (12/11/2022). On the first day, the interview test for prospective members of the 2024 election PPK was held in Kepanjenkidul sub-district. In total there were 16 participating candidates for the 2024 election PPK who underwent an interview test held by the Blitar City KPU.

Of these, 1 participant was declared disqualified because he was not present at the interview selection stage. This decision was made because there was no follow-up interview testing at this stage of the interview test. “In principle, we had shortlisted about 16 people who then passed but there were only 15 positions, one confirmed that the person concerned was not qualified because there was no schedule for follow-up interviews,” he explained Rangga.

Interview selection activity for prospective Sub-District Selection Committee (PPK) members for the 2024 election will be held for 3 days, December 11-13, 2022. Interview selection activities will also be conducted per sub-district and on this first day Kepanjenkidul sub-district will get an initial fee to do a trial interview.

Meanwhile, the Blitar City Election Commission for the second day of selection talks will be held tomorrow for the Sananwetan sub-district area. Later for Sananwetan sub-district area there will be 18 candidates to take part in PPK 2024 election interview selection.

“The PPK interview selection will last till 13th December 2022 where tomorrow 12th there will be a selection interview for 18 candidates for potential PPK members in Sananwetan sub-district,” Rangga explained.

While the third day of interview selection, the Blitar City Election Commission for the Sukorejo area will be held. Next for Sukorejo area there will be 17 candidates for 2024 election PPK members. Blitar city KPU also appealed all the candidates for 2024 election PPK candidates who said they passed the test written to participate in the scheduled interview test.

This was done in order to avoid the loss of PPK member candidates for the 2024 election due to non-attendance at the selection interview. Blitar City KPU informed that during the selection phase of this interview there were no candidate follow-up grants for the sub-district election committee members. “For the third day or the 13th, we will hold a trial interview for 17 people from Sukorejo subdistrict,” he added.

Previously, Blitar City KPU also held written test for prospective PPK member candidates for 2024 election. In accordance with the provisions of Blitar City KPU, they also took 3 PPK requirements for 2024 election.

However, Blitar City KPU also took participants with the same score so that the number of candidates for PPK Election 2024 candidates who passed the selection stage of the interview exceeded the requirement by 3 times. The total number of candidates for the 2024 election PPK members who passed the interview selection of the Blitar City Election Commission reached 51 people.
