While the first Bloody Lunar Eclipse of this year took place this morning, it is stated that the effects of the eclipse, which is also watched from Turkey, will last for 6 months.
For those who couldn’t watch the eclipse live, NASA and the network of Slooh observatories broadcast the eclipse live. NASA’s Lucy spacecraft, launched last fall, showed photos of this weekend’s lunar eclipse exactly 103 million kilometers away.

NASA announced that about two lunar eclipses occur every year and that the next total lunar eclipse will be in November, and that there will be no other total lunar eclipse until March 2025.

During the eclipse, the Moon was 362,1265 km from Earth. It was recorded that the total eclipse lasted about 75 minutes.
