Research sources have confirmed that a 26-year-old man has been arrested for his alleged participation in the beating that resulted, due to the severity of the injuries, in the death of Iván Vaquero.
Is the first arrest related to the case, although it might not be the last. As far as we have learned, the Civil Guard has taken numerous statements. At least a dozen minors related to the group of gang members identified in recent days by the residents of Velilla de San Antonio.
The researchers also they have taken statements from both witnesses to the attack and the victim’s partner. So far, the account of the events points to a casual discussion after the victim rebuked a group of young people who were doing graffiti on a building. That wake up call led to a beating in a group during which they inflicted several blows on the victim’s head that caused, two days later, his death at the Hospital de La Princesa. The investigation is still open.
