First 36,000 Johnson & Johnson Vaccines Delivered To Our Country Today | Inland

On March 11, the Johnson & Johnson vaccine as the fourth corona vaccine received the green light from the European Medicines Agency EMA. This was described as an important step for the vaccination campaign, because, unlike the other corona vaccines, one injection of the Johnson & Johnson drug is sufficient.

Initially, there was some uncertainty about the first deliveries of the vaccine, which was developed by the Belgian Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Janssen Pharmaceutica. Previously, April 19 was the first delivery date, but that term was therefore postponed by a week.

Belgium expects a total of 1.4 million doses of the vaccine in the second quarter.
