First 130 ME Minimum Guaranteed Super Jackpot of the new EuroMillions drawn today

The first 130 million euro jackpot of the new EuroMillions is now drawn, following a reworking of the prizes and the image of the game agreed by 10 European operators and which took place this month.

The EuroMillions draw will now feature at least three annual draws of 130 million euros as a guaranteed minimum prize and the accumulated jackpots can reach a value of 250 million euros.

According to Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa (SCML), which manages the State’s social games, “the increase in the maximum jackpot value to 200 million euros (currently at 190 million euros is the main novelty of the new Euromillions ”.

“If this value is reached, it can be maintained for five consecutive drawings without the first prize being awarded. But, if the 200 million jackpot comes out, in the next cycle the maximum value will increase to 210 million, and the same mechanism will be repeated, successively, in installments of 10 million, until reaching the maximum amount of 250 million ”, explains SCML in a statement.

The reformulation of the prizes, agreed by the 10 European operators of this game, is one of the news associated with the change in the image of the Euromillions, visible on the tickets since the draw of February 4.

“The new life of Euromillions also has the likelihood of higher and more frequent ‘jackpots’ taking place and the holding of three promotional sweepstakes of the Minimum Guaranteed Super Jackpot, which will offer prizes worth 130 million euros (or approximately) ”, Said SCML.

The format of the game, however, remains unchanged: bettors must continue to choose five numbers and two stars for each bet, the minimum stake remains at 2.5 euros, which includes the weekly game draw ” M1LHÃO ”, and the chances of being awarded remain 1 in 13.

The Euromillions was launched on February 13, 2004, in Spain, France and England, arrived in Portugal, Ireland, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg on October 2 of the same year, and the first draw took place in Portugal on the day October 8, 2004.
